Diet counselling and planning: Balanced diet is key to health because diet plays vital role for maintaining good health during health and disease conditions. Balanced diet provided according to the requirement and health or disease conditions not only prevent malnutrition among the pregnant and lactating mothers, children and others but is also a vital factor of chronic diseases like diabetes, hypertension, cardiovascular diseases, cancer, kidney diseases, chronic liver disease and others.
For maintenance of health and reduction of complications during diseases, we offer scientific, evidence based diet counselling and planning different life stages and diseases as below and this process goes with the proper assessment of nutritional status of client. Diets are planned considering the likes and dislikes, socioeconomic conditions and availability of foods in the community of the client. Not only the diet plan is made but proper counselling is provided to the client and his/her family members such as parents of child for implementation of plan.
- Pregnancy and Lactation
Improper diet and nutrition during pregnancy may lead to improper growth of foetus while mother may get anaemic and other complications may be seen. Similarly, during lactation extra amount of nutrients and energy is required for mother to produce milk.

Infancy is the period of most rapid physical and mental growth. Malnutrition during this period causes impairment in growth and has lifelong effects. Growing children may not get proper nutrition if parents are unable to provide proper guidance for selection of foods.
